Nike just dropped a pleasant surprise on everyone this morning. The Swoosh revealed its new Nike Lab initiative that will serve as a destination for its leading product innovations. In honor of the launch, Nike released a sneaker from one of its most inventive lineups: HTM.

Designed by Mark Parker, Hiroshi Fujiwara, and Tinker Hatfield, the Nike Free Mercurial Superfly HTM blends together some of Nike's disruptive technologies. Equipped with Flyknit and Free, the product transforms the Nike Mercurial Superfly soccer boot into a shoe that can be worn casually on the streets. If you remember, Mark Parker had these on-feet back in April at the Nike Football Innovation Summit.

The Free Mercurial Superfly HTM features an all-black Flyknit upper with Flywire cables and sits atop a Free 5.0 midsole. The sneaker released this morning on Nike.com and quickly sold out. If you literally slept on the release, you'll get another chance tomorrow when the sneakers drop exclusively at Nike Lab locations.
