Kobe's love for soccer has been well documented through the years, and the Laker star even had a cameo in Nike's latest World Cup ad, "Winning Stays". Due to his love for the game, it's no surprise Nike is releasing a World Cup inspired colorway of his Kobe 9 EM.
The Nike Kobe 9 EM "Brazil" features several eye catching colors reminiscent of the host country's traditional colors. The shoe features several different patterns throughout that have a very "pop art" type feel especially with the mix of blue, green and yellow. As usual, the Kobe 9 EM features the same top quality materials you would expect including an engineered mesh upper and highly cushioned outsole. Nike's been busy at work this summer debuting multiple cleats including the Magista, and the highly anticipated "World Cup" pack, and this Kobe 9 EM will certainly be a must cop for many people, soccer fan or not.
The Kobe 9 EM "Brazil" will be available beginning June 19 at select retailers and at Nike Store.
