Jordan Brand’s pairing withDrake has been nothing short of a trip for both of them. Drake proudly wears all Jordan acquisitions, and his status as Hip Hop’s perennial romantic has lent a softer side to the House of Flight.
It wasn’t too long ago that the OVO Jordan Xs and XIIs started popping up everywhere (to mixed reactions), but Drake and Jordan’s public have been anticipating a release that we peons could get our hands on.

Even if you don’t have a particularly good memory, this colorway may seem pretty familiar to you. A black nubuck upper is accented only by gold on the lacing, midsole and lining, with icy blue outsole elements. OVO’s proprietary owl graces the heel.
Until Nike, or Drake, makes an official announcement, all release information is speculation and rumor. But “October” is one third of “October’s Very Own,” so it wouldn’t be a huge leap to guess these shoes will hit the market then. Hopefully they won’t suffer the same fate as another rapper’s October named Nike sneaker.
