We’ve had the newest Nike KD VII in our sights for a while now. We’ve seen the details, and even the shoe on foot, but we’ve never seen them look this good.
Instagram user shoevillian got his hands on a pair of the upcoming model (hello Team Early), and took a moment to stunt. Lucky for us. From this angle, we get a good look at how the molded plastic back section creates a firm base for the shoe, while the layers of mesh on the quarter and toe add subtle design elements. The mesh is one solid piece, cut open just for flywires and the lace loop. The swoosh on the forefoot leaves room for some graphics.
The KD VII is set to release June 28. If you weren’t popping champagne and lighting cigars this weekend in celebration of whatever it is you celebrate, you can look forward to grabbing the newest KD in two weeks.
