It is the year of the Stan Smith and adidas is showing no signs of slowing down.

This time the brand has taken their Primeknit technology and applied it to the iconic shoe from toe to heel. In leather, the Stan Smith has little variation over the whole shoe, and adidas has used the same aesthetics on the Primeknit version. Using two simple knits, the clean Stan Smith remains intact. Only a few wide stitches take the place of the holes that create the signature adidas stripes.

Keeping tradition alive, green knit heels crown the shoe, while the O.G. soles and tongue tags remain.

These knit kicks are already available in Taiwan at the steep price of $5,280 NTD (about $176 US). They’ll certainly make it to the states at something a little more affordable. Stay tuned.
