After adidas Originals teased the SL Loop just last month, we now have an official look at this new model from the Three Stripes. The SL Loop Runner takes inspiration from the SL 72 sneaker that athletes would casually wear in between competitions during the 1972 Olympic Games.

Constructed as a lightweight model, the SL Loop Runner features a mesh upper, suede paneling, and pull tabs on the tongue and heel. The Three Stripes branding on the side panel serves as part of the sneaker's eye stays and the overall sleek upper sits atop a thick cushioned midsole.

The SL Loop Runner will be debut in four colors—solar green, frost mint, onix, and solar red—and releases next month at adidas Originals retailers and on adidas.com. Retail price is $75.
