Earlier we got a chance to see a pair of Air Jordan VI "Dodger Blues" worn by Juan Uribe. Now, Baltimore Orioles' third baseman and one of baseball's brightest young stars, Manny Machado, has his own set of Air Jordan VI PEs that would have any seasoned sneaker collector envious.
According to What Pros Wear - a site dedicated to covering what your favorite athlete's are wearing on field - Machado signed with Jordan Brand earlier this season. Now, Machado can enjoy all the benefits of being a member of Team Jordan including the jealousy inducing flow of "swag" packages.
Amongst Machado's first benefits are three pairs of Air Jordan VI PE Cleats and a pair of nearly all-black upper Air Jordan VI PE Trainers. All shoes feature the Baltimore Orioles' team colors. If this is a sign of things to come, sneakerheads just might have to start paying more attention to what the MLB guys are wearing.
