The historical first round of this year's NBA Playoffs concluded last Sunday with two Game 7s and the Brooklyn Nets and San Antonio Spurs each moving on to the second round.
For sneakerheads, the ramifications of those games mean that we no longer get to see the Toronto Raptors trio of Demar DeRozan, Amir Johnson, and Terrence Ross rocking some of the best sneakers we've seen all year.
While we bid farewell to those players, there is still plent of heat hitting the courts for the playoffs led by the Oklahoma City Thunder's Russell Westbrook who brought out another PE of the upcoming Air Jordan XX9. Speaking of Air Jordans, the Brooklyn Nets' Joe Johnson continued to represent in the Air Jordan XVI, while the Miami Heat's Ray Allen and the San Antonio Spurs Kawhi Leonard continued to do their thing in the Air Jordan XX8 SE. Westbrook's teammate, Kevin Durant, got named the regular season NBA MVP and he continues to lead the Thunder in a dope PE colorway of his Nike KD 6. Closing out this past week, Norris Cole of the Miami Heat took us back to 2003 by rocking fellow teammate LeBron James' first signature shoe, the Nike Air Zoom Generation. Here are The 25 Best Sneakers Worn in the NBA Playoffs This Week.
