A lot of old school sneaker brands are finding their way back on the market this year with surprising collabs. PONY’s joint collaborations with Atmos and Wish, LimitEDitions x Le Coq Sportif, and the Patta x Diadora collab that landed in January. It looks like Diadora is about to strike back, this time with Hanon.
Two days ago, Hanon released a teaser of their upcoming Diadora collaboration on Instagram showing mostly the leather tongue showing the Diadora and Hanon flame logos. With the photo Hanon wrote, “Continua a bruciare,“ which translates to “Continues to burn” in Italian—the mother tongue of Diadora. Burgundy leather and suede dominate the upper with baby blue lining and hits of red on the heel and under the tongue. Cream laces play off the white and cream sole.
Not too long ago, there were images of another Hanon x Diadora collab possibly in the works. Who knows if that one will ever see the light of day.
