If this trailer is an indication of things, then "yes," Oklahoma City Thunder guard and Jordan Brand athlete Russell Westbrook will debut the Air Jordan XX9 during the playoffs.
With the Air Jordan XX9 global launch event scheduled this week on April 17, it makes sense for JB's latest flagship model. Based on the video, this year's inspiration for the XX9 could be centered around the world of Bespoke. With the trailer titled "Tailored for Flight" and a tailor working on a cut and sew piece in a shop named "Jeffrey & Sons" - Jeffrey is Jordan's middle name for those that don't know -its a safe assumption.
Thankfully, we won't have to wait long to find out.
