Seton Hall University better get ready for some new gear, as the Pirates just inked a deal with Under Armour to make them the official outfitter of for all Seton Hall varsity sports teams, beginning July 1, 2014.
The multi-year deal states that Under Armour will design and supply apparel, footwear, and equipment for training and game day uniforms for each of the men's and women's 14 varsity sports teams. Also included in the deal is also specialized marketing and promotional opportunities to help grow both Under Armour, and Seton Hall, which happens to be one of the remaining founders of the powerhouse Big East conference.
“We are thrilled to align Seton Hall Athletics with such a prominent brand and industry leader,” said Seton Hall University Director of Athletics Patrick Lyons. “We strive to provide premier resources for our athletic programs in order to compete at the highest level, and we believe this partnership demonstrates our commitment to achieving that goal.”
Seton Hall becomes the fourteenth Division-I school that Under Armour outfits including the University of South Carolina, University of Maryland, Auburn University, and most notably, the University of Notre Dame.
Keep an eye out for Seton Hall as they debut their new Under Armour apparel and gear across their 14 varsity sports beginning the 2014-15 season.
