Ronnie Fieg's portfolio of dope collaborations runs deep. Seriously, the man's been doing his thing for years now and has plenty of hits to his name. It's his "Salmon Toe" ASICS Gel Lyte III, though, that many consider the best sneaker and colorway he's ever produced. While many are still on the hunt for a pair, Ronnie's giving everyone an opportunity to own the "Salmon Toe" colorway, but just on a completely different brand and model—the Clarks Kildare.

Ronnie took to Twitter to explain why he used the "Salmon Toe" color blocking on his upcoming Clarks collab. Check the tweets as Ronnie breaks it down.

For people that wonder why I used the Salmon Toe color blocking on the Kildare...

It's to offer one of my favorite colorways to those who couldn't purchase the Gel Lyte iii in 2011.

I believe it's better to offer some of my classic work on new silhouettes instead of offering a retro.
