Vaunted French clothing label PIGALLE is amongst the most coveted fashion labels of the past few years. Having been founded in 2008 by Stephane Ashpool and supported by the likes of A$AP Rocky, the Parisian brand has attained a level of success and maintained a balance of popularity and exclusivity that most other brands would envy.

And Nike has taken notice.

A teaser photo virtually announcing an upcoming collaboration between the two brands has surfaced and was released earlier this morning via Wu Yue's Instagram, a designer and friend of Ashpool. The image depicts "NIKE AIR" text in the PIGALLE font while being incorporated into the brand's signature black box logo. Appearing on what appears to be a basketball or a least basketball leather, the collaboration seems to be inspired by Ashpool's love of the game and could possibly have been in rooted in Nike's support of Ashpool's "Amateur Basketball" project in Paris back in 2012.

No other information regarding the collabo has been revealed just yet so stay tuned as this will definitely be one of 2014's most anticipated releases.
