Both the men and women's U.S National Soccer teams are gearing up for the World Cup in Brazil this summer. To help them look and perform their best, Nike Soccer revealed the bold, patriotic new look that the U.S will take to the field.
Unlike uniforms from years past, the 2014 Away kit features a modern crew-neck collar with three bands across the top, representing the American flag. Nike added some added patriotic touches including inside the back of the neck, where a pennant tab has thirteen red and white stripes to represent the original thirteen colonies. Much like other uniform kits from Nike, the Nation's crest is located over the chest, as well as on the shorts. The 2014 Away kit is also a marvel in uniform tech, as it offers the superior cooling and comfort by using Nike's Dri-Fit technology and matching it with their Pro Baselayer for a lighter more breathable kit.
