The NBA season is coming to a close with teams in the both conferences fighting for the final remaining playoff spots. One team that doesn't need to worry about a playoff birth is the Miami Heat, lead by reigning MVP LeBron James. The most recognizable face in the NBA has received the gold standard of performance kicks from Nike since entering the league back in 2003, often placing the latest innovations and materials into his signature shoes.

This year is no different as the Nike LeBron 11 is considered more of a "technical machine" then your prototypical basketball shoe. Today, we get a look at what appears to be hometown Miami Heat colorway of the even more advanced Nike LeBron 11 Elite, which takes all the performance aspects of the original model and ramps them up even further with higher grade materials. The Nike Lebron 11 Elite "Team" features a silver upper with red and black accents along the swoosh, laces, heel, and outsole, very reminiscent of his hometown Heat.

LeBron has yet to hit the hardwood this year in this particular colorway, but when competition heats up in during the playoffs, look for King James to bust these out to help propel him and his Heat to the next level. Keep an eye out for the Nike LeBron 11 Elite "Team" as it's slated to drop April 11 at all major retailers for $275.
