The recent trend in running shoes is all about flexibility, breathability, and a lightweight design. Nike's been incorporating all these principles recently especially with the announcement of the latest batch of Free's and Flyknits. Today, Nike launched the Zoom Elite 6 women's running shoe, designed to provide a dynamic, breathable shoe, with a glove-like fit.

The Zoom Elite 6 features several large mesh panels throughout the upper to offer runner's with superior breathability and comfort. Nike also added in Flywire construction to make the runner ultra lightweight and provide the most support possible. Another standout feature here is the Nike Zoom forefoot unit for increased responsiveness and cushioning. Finally, Nike incorporated carbon fiber into the heel for durability, and deep flex grooves across the outsole to increase the overall flexibility of the shoe.

The Nike Zoom Elite 6 is currently available in three colors on Nike.com. Due to the positive response so far, it's safe to say more colorways are due up in the near future.
