Nike's Flyknit technology first debuted nearly two years ago at the 2012 Summer Olympics and has quickly become an integral part of the Swoosh's running category. Since then, Flyknit has made its way onto several different running sneakers and even crossed over to basketball on Kobe Bryant's ninth signature sneaker. For our Kicks of the Day, we highlight an original knit runner in one of its more recent colorways—the Nike Flyknit Trainer "Bright Crimson."
This super lightweight runner features a one-piece knit upper with Flywire technology on the side panels for a snug fit and proper support. The toe box is bright crimson, while the medial and lateral sides of the Flyknit are more toned down with a grey and white combination. The entire knitted upper sits atop a midsole that boasts Nike Zoom tech on the heel and forefoot to promote a more cushioned experience that's fit for your every move.
As if you didn't already have enough runners, you can pick these up on Nike Store for under retail price at $119.97 (orig. $150). Plenty of great sizes are still available, so get to it.
