The Jordan Brand Classic is taking over the Barclay Center next week April 18, as the world's best and brightest high school basketball players get a chance to showcase their skills. This years marks the 13th playing of the Classic, which has become a nationally televised event, after the likes of Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Kevin Durant, and LeBron James have all competed in it over the years. This year is no different, as Jordan continues to premier the next up and coming talent, with 26 of the the nation's top recruits slated to play in the classic.
Today, Nike and Jordan unveiled the apparel players will be outfitted with when they hit the hardwood. All players will receive a special pair of Jordan Melo M10's, featuring either a black or white upper depending for the home and away squads. To pay homage to the host, The uniforms feature a New York inspired Concrete Jungle pattern with gold accents to represent the cityscape.
If interested, you can grab both colors of the Melo M10's at Flight 23 at Footaction, House of Hoops Harlem, Nike Town New York and House of Hoops Fulton beginning April 18 for $165. No word on if the jersey, or shorts will release yet but keep it locked for further updates.
