Today marked the official unveiling of the latest Jordan brand basketball sneaker, the Air Jordan XX9. We're well aware of Jordan and Nike's pursuit of perfection through innovation on the basketball court, but recently Jordan is looking to broaden it's horizon by joining in on the recent running craze. A few weeks ago we gave you the first look at the brands first ever running shoe, the Jordan Flight Runner, and now were getting some solid release dates.

Jordan will start off by releasing two colorways of the Flight Runner later this summer. The shoes have the typical Jordan fingerprint on them as they incorporated cement print along the upper, and one of the debut colorways is a classic Bulls red and black. To differentiate from others, Jordan added some reflective touches across the upper as well to give the Flight Runner a one of a kind look.

The Jordan Flight Runner is scheduled to hit Nike.com and other select retailers worldwide at the end of May. Let us know what you think of Jordans first attempt in running shoes and if your looking forward to picking up a pair @SneakerReport.
