Things got out of hand at Supreme NY last night. After a riot almost broke out between customers camping out for the Supreme x Nike Air Foamposite One, the N.Y.P.D. put a halt to the in-store launch of the sneakers. The New York Post reported that customers tried to rush the doors of the store, which was scheduled to open at 11 a.m. this morning, and were then Maced by police officers. According to the Post, the resale value of the $250 shoes are expected to be as much as $1,000.
