After much speculation about Damian Lillard's future with adidas, the footwear company announced today that they've reached a long-term partnership extension with the Portland Trail Blazers' All-Star point guard. Lillard was set to be a sneaker free agent at the end of this season, but chose to stay and rep the Three Stripes. “Adidas has been great to me over my first two seasons,” said Lillard through a written statement. “I’ve had the opportunity to wear a lot of great product, help design special versions of shoes, be a part of TV commercials and travel the world with the brand. I’m excited for what the future holds for me and adidas.” There you have it, everyone. Could this deal mean a Damian Lillard signature sneaker with adidas is on the way?
