adidas has been the official footwear and apparel supplier for the Boston Marathon for 26 years now and continues that partnership with this year's "We All Run Boston" campaign.
Following last year's tragic events, adidas plans to raise and donate money for One Fund Boston, a charity organization setup to help those affected by the Boston Marathon bombings. In partnership with The Today Show's Natalie Morales, a special adidas Energy Boost 2 sneaker will be worn by Morales and several other supporters during Monday's race to help raise awareness for the charity.
The orange and blue "We All Run Boston" Energy Boost 2 features the Twitter handles of those directly affected by the tragedy and will be available for purchase at the marathon's Sports & Fitness Expo. The sneaker will officially release this fall to the public for $120 and a percentage of the proceeds will benefit One Fund Boston.
