UBIQ Likes to Party With New Saucony Collab

Get those heads to turnt.

UBIQ X Saucony "Dirty Martini"

So, UBIQ has a collaboration with Saucony coming up. How do we know? UBIQ told us.

Sunday night on Instagram, UBIQ released a video teaser of its upcoming Grid 9000. The short video, backed up by Kaytranada’s Remix of Beyoncé and Andre 3000’s “Party,” shows clips of drinks being poured and enjoyed, and capped with a quick shot of the sneaker’s toe.

The video hints not only at the conceptual inspiration for the shoe – partying and having a good time – but also the design inspiration. A long cut of a dirty martini with pimento stuffed olives immediately precedes the reveal of the shoe. The shoe that is covered with olive green suede, with pimento and dirty vodka white suede detailing.

UBIQ subsequently released a handful of detailed photos and revealed the name: the "Dirty Martini." And they're releasing sooner than you might think: March 8. That's this Saturday. That's a reason to celebrate next weekend.
