Filling Pieces has spent most of the last decade building a rock of a foundation with minimal and clean silhouettes based on extreme wearability. Few young sneaker brands are able to find their footing. One by one we see them show up and fade away just as quick. But the past few years have had Filling Pieces explode on the world market between collabs and limited solo drops. And now the brand is cranking up the heat.
The next drop of the Spring/Summer 2014 collection is coming up and it’s all power. Using the two most popular models, the Mountain Cut Low and the Low Top Trainer, Filling Pieces chose impeccable materials to cover the uppers. Yellow, black, and White leathers and nubucks make for clean basics. A forest green zebra leather plays off nubuck for textural interest. Real crocodile skins in navy and cream are the real show stoppers.
We know there are more collaborations upcoming with FP, like one with Publish Brand. And we can tell you that many pairs will be exclusive to their London popup in the Boxpark Shoreditch Pop-Up Mall which will be open through June of this year.
