When the picture of a dude wearing some previously unseen Air Jordan IIIs at a basketball game (posing with his friend in Gamma XIs) started flying around social media, it was followed by even more speculation. Some thought the White/Cement Grey-Infrared IIIs were all messed up with 3M, others thought it was 5lab3s in an early sample.
Everyone was wrong.
The dude wearing the Js was Carlos Prieto, owner of SoleFly Sneaker Boutique in Miami, who had previously worked on a Spiz'ike with Jordan Brand.
The news since the initial photo has been spare, but the SoleFly Instagram did recently release a teaser of the heel of the shoe.
All the IG teases have also shown scratch off ticket imagery prominently, so stock up on your rabbit’s feet and light some candles. Bots aren’t going to help you on this one.
