adidas recently released its environmentally friendly Element Refine sneaker in the U.S. after making its debut overseas this past holiday. The lightweight runner is made of a circular mesh fabric that is strategically constructed, resulting in a 90% material usage efficiency. Basically, it's good for the Earth and looks pretty amazing. adidas' signature three stripes branding runs down the side of the sneaker, while the mesh upper sits atop a white cushioned midsole.
While completely different in design, the new sneaker looks to be a follow-up effort to adidas' 2012 minimalist runner in the PrimeKnit. The Element Refine is now available in women's and men's colorways at adidas retailers nationwide, including Foot Locker. Retail price is set at $70.
