The Lakers are still without Kobe Bryant with the foreseeable future, but that hasn't stopped teammates and fellow NBA ballers from debuting his kicks. In last night's game against the Utah Jazz, we got our first look at the Nike Kobe 9 Elite "Lakers" PE, thanks to an unlikely source, Phoenix Sun's small forward, PJ Tucker.

The latest PE colorway features the signature Lakers purple and gold coming to make the Flyknit upper, and a neon volt inner lining to accent the already loud sneaker. Like all previous Kobe 9's, this "Lakers" PE has all the Nike bells and whistles you could ask for including, Flywire, Lunarlon cushioning system, and the carbon fiber heel clip.

No word on a release date for these yet, but chances are these will be surfacing soon and are a destined favorite of fellow Lakers guard Nick Young, who's been wearing the Kobe 9 "Masterpiece" for most of the season.
