The 2014 NBA All-Star game kicks off in New Orleans this weekend. Recently, All-Star weekend has evolved beyond the basketball and is a celebration of the whole culture both on the court and off.

Just two weeks ago, Jordan Brand opened up their first retail store in New York City and has been an overwhelming success. This weekend, Jordan Brand is opening the Jordan Flight Lab in New Orleans to serve as an interactive store and design center for visitors of All-Star weekend.

In the lab, people can come in and try on the All-Star versions of the Melo M10, Jordan XX8SE, CP3.VII and the Super.Fly 2. Following trying on the sneakers, you then enter a room of holograms players and can mimic the signature moves of your favorite NBA players.

The other part of the Flight Lab is the design center, where you can design your custom pair of Melo M10, Jordan XX8SE or the Super.Fly 2 with help from a Jordan Brand designer. Roughly every two hours, a winner is picked and will get their custom sneakers for free. Only 50 winners in total will be chosen over the weekend, so bring your A game.

Check out our friends at Complex, who went down for the grand opening and peep the pictures for a more detailed look from inside the lab. If your down in New Orleans this weekend, go check out the Flight Lab located on 316 Magazine Street.
