A day in the life of a sneakerhead is anything but typical. Some could spend hours waiting in line one day, andΒ hours behind a computer screen the next day. It doesn't matter if you do it for money, or just to stunt there are certainly some similarities among everyone who calls themselves a part of the community.Β

Whether you're ingrained in sneakersΒ or not, you have to admit that you've gone through these motions before, if not daily.

It starts off like this:Β

8 a.m.: Rise and shine. While most begin the dayΒ curating the perfect outfit to hit the streets, a sneakerheadΒ starts by considering the shoes first, then working from there.Β

9:20 a.m.: AfterΒ much deliberation, you settle on the perfect pair of kicks .Β

9:30 a.m.: Now that you've made a decision, it’s time to feed the followers with a quick Instagram. Β #WDYWTΒ #IGsneakercommunityΒ #ComplexKicks

9:45 a.m.: Before you leave the house, you check eBay. That auction you spied on last night still has less than 20 bids. Satisfied, you scan through your favorite sneaker blogs. Gotta keep updated.

10:00 a.m.: Time to hit the streets. Your first stop is Footaction. The store’s last tweet revealed that tickets for the upcoming Jordan release will be available today.

11 a.m.: After waiting in line for an hour, you get a ticket.

12:30 p.m.: You meet up with your sneakerhead friends who have been waiting in line at Supreme for four hours. The new collection is about to drop in 30 minutes and you have to cop something. You slide right in lineΒ with your homies like it’s nothing.

1 p.m.: You make the wise decision to stunt on the beasts in line by changing your shoes right there. #SWAG

1:20 p.m.: Time for aΒ quickΒ Instagram flex with you new gear.

1:35 p.m.: When you finally get into the store, the Nike collabΒ you wanted was sold out.

2:00 p.m.: To beat the sneaker blues, it’s taco time!

3 p.m.: Β Your stomach's full but now you need to successfully buy something. It's time to head home and man the Internet. Β

7:30 p.m.: Your Internet session lasted longer than you anticipated, but it was successful. You're hype because you traded a pair of Taxi XIIs for some DS Concord XIs. The trade defies logic, but you don't care because it was a steal.

8:30 p.m.: After another sneaker change, you're back out on the streets.

11 p.m.: You finish the day off celebrating out with your homies. Ready to start all over again tomorrow.

1 a.m.: Exhausted from the day, you still make time to clean you kicks. Gotta keep em fresh.

1:30 a.m.: But really, you're not sleeping: You're on your computer until 3 a.m. watching an eBay auction.
