Prospective players at the 2014 NFL Combine still have some work to do before they hit the big league, but Under Armour has already rolled out the preferential treatment for them by way of custom, flashy footwear.
Players at the combine will receive multiple pairs of custom UA shoes, including the Nitro Low, Nitro Mid, Spine Fierce, UA Highlight and the exclusive 40-yd dash cleat. Each shoe is designed to help bring out the best in each player, and each different model will be utilized depending on the drill at hand. At the forefront of UA’s Combine footwear lineup is the 40-yard dash speed cleat, which features a chromed-out Blur CBN outsole for explosive traction and acceleration, along with the new Highlight cleat, complete with the brand’s proprietary ClutchFit technology for locked-in support.
