Last week, adidas dropped a major incentive hammer to all athletes performing at the 2014 NFL Scouting Combine.adidas put up a 100k prize to the player with the fastest 40-yard dash time at the combine while wearing the 4.6oz adizero 5-Star 40 cleat.
The combine has come and gone, and adidas stuck to their word and awarded Oregon State wideout Brandin Cooks the top prize after posting an impressive time of 4.33 seconds. In addition to the 100k top prize, adidas also awarded 10k to each player with the fastest time per position group, who rocked the adizero 5-Star 40 cleat while running.
