The Olympics aren't the only international competition set to take place this year. The World Cup is a little under five months away and today adidas unveiled the away kits for Spain, Germany, Argentina and Russia.

Equipped with adizero technology, the 2014 World Cup jerseys will be the lightest jerseys ever created by adidas, coming in at 40 percent lighter than the previous model.

Just like with the home kits, each country's jersey was designed with its history in mind. For the first time, defending World Cup champion Spain will wear a neon and black color combination inspired by the colorful culture of Spain. Germany will sport horizontal red stripes on their away kits indicative of the openness and unconventional attitude of fashion-concious youngsters in Germany. As a play on their nation's crest, Argentina will wear a blend of blue and gold in celebration of the glory of soccer in the country.

Finally, Russia's jerseys will celebrate the achievements of Russian space exploration with a blue semi-circle representative of the perspective seen by Yuri Gagarin when he became the first man in space in 1961.

The jerseys are currently available for preorder and can be ordered at adidas online.
