Now that the temperatures at Melbourne Park begin to cool off, the action on the courts is just starting to heat up.
Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray have all advanced to the fourth round of the Australian Open men's singles. Federer was able to make quick work of Teymuraz Gabashvili, while the Joker dropped Denis Istomin. There's still a ways to go, but we'd be lying if we said we didn't have our fingers crossed for a Federer-Djokovic finals to continue one of the game's greatest rivalries for the first time in the Australian Open championship round.
In the NBA, Kevin Durant dropped a career-high 54 points on the Warriors as the Thunder cruised to a 127-121 win. Charlotte's Al Jefferson had a big night with a 30 point, 16 rebound double-double, and Blake Griffin dominated the Knicks in his Jordan PE. In San Antonio, Portland's LaMarcus Aldridge broke out a head-turning Nike Air Max Hyperposite PE as he dropped 26 points and 13 rebounds on the Spurs.
Catch up on all this and more after the jump.
