On Friday, January 10, the great Shawn Kemp took to the court of his alma mater Concord High School in Elkhart, Indiana in a pair of the Reebok Kamikaze I OG—the same sneakers he made famous during his days as a pro in the NBA.
Following a meet-and-greet with students, Kemp hit the team locker room to share some words of wisdom with the young ballers. As if that wasn’t enough, Kemp teamed up with Reebok to donate pairs of the Kamikaze to the Concord High squad.
While the rest of us weren’t so lucky, we’ll get our chance to get a pair when Reebok Classic brings back the Kamikaze I on Friday, January 17. For a limited time, the shoe will be available for purchase at select retailers like Foot Locker, Finish Line, Champs and Jimmy Jazz. The Kamikaze I will also be available online at Reebok.
