The thick of the college basketball season is upon us, which means conference tournaments and March Madness are right around the corner. With the competition heating up, Nike wants to honor some of the most prolific college basketball programs with specially designed Hyper Elite Dominance uniforms.

The uniforms pay homage to the past with a retro look for seven NCAA men's teams, who will wear them in upcoming games during the second part of the season. Nike created the uniforms much like Nike does—with innovation as the primary focus. The top is made from lightweight, durable and breathable fabric to control sweat, and also features articulated armholes to maximize a player's range of motion.

The teams that will wear the throwback Hyper Elite Dominance uniforms include: Michigan State, Syracuse, North Carolina, Ohio State, Duke, Kentucky, and Oregon. All seven uniforms honor the programs' winning pedigree and provide premium technical apparel combined with a vintage look.

The uniforms will be made available for fan purchase in March.
