In 1991, Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls had to beat the Detroit Pistons and Los Angeles Lakers to capture their first NBA Championship. To celebrate these victories, in 2010, Jordan Brand released Pistons and Lakers color schemes of the Air Jordan VI, the sneaker Jordan wore in the '91 season.

Oddly enough, Nick Young, who currently plays for the Lakers, decided to wear a pair of Lakers-defeating VIs for shootaround today, as evidenced by the Lakers' Instagram account. Young, whose known by his moniker, Swaggy P, is known for fresh sneakers, and wearing something with a little bit of age and breaking it out at the ripe moment is totally his style.

So even though it's weird he's wearing these sneakers, they do match his uniform, and its unlikely that another Laker will break them out this evening.
