Kobe Bryant finally came back from last year's Achilles tendon tear, but he's currently injured again. With that said, no one thought his new sneaker, the Nike Kobe 9, would hit the NBA court until he came back from the injury or the sneakers released on February 9—whichever came first.

But Nick Young will be the first person to wear the sneakers, per an announcement on his Instagram account. Young just said, "Kobe 9's tonight :S/O to my main man the Black Mamba and the Nike family for letting me, Swaggy P to be the first to rock these #Nike #Kobe9."

It's good to hear that Young got the blessing from Nike and Kobe, but it still would have been nice to see Kobe be the first to rock these ultra-high-cut sneakers. Look for Young to wear the "Masterpiece" version of the Kobe 9 this evening as the Lakers play the Miami Heat at 8 p.m. on TNT.
