Kareem Remembers When the Dunk was Banned in adidas Originals Mockumentary (Video)

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is indeed "The Blueprint." From his early days at UCLA, his height and skill were the only weapons he needed on the hardwood. Towering over defenders, he made dunking look easy. That is until 1967 when the slam dunk was banned from college basketball.

In adidas Originals 'Ban the Slam' mockumentary, Kareem and Bobby "The Bounce Pass" Mitchowski, played by Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s Glenn Howerton reminisce on the ruling that subsequently led to the perfection of the patented sky hook.
