Throughout the '90s, you knew that the NBA Christmas Day games would deliver to the fullest thanks to one man, Michael Jordan. Whether His Airness was matched against his rivals the New York Knicks or up-and-coming stars like Grant Hill and the Pistons, the chance to see Jordan play on Christmas was something you just couldn't miss.

On December 23, 1992, Michael Jordan delivered some gifts a couple days early against the Washington Bullets. As Chicago hosted the current day Wizards, Jordan went off with 57 points and 10 assists, powering the Bulls to a 107-98 win. Horace Grant, B.J. Armstrong, and Scottie Pippen all chipped in 10+ points apiece, but it was Jordan's 57 that truly rallied Chicago to the win.

During this portion of the '92-93 season, Mike was laced in the Air Jordan VII, opting for the "Cardinal" colorway. This Huarache-inspired model was reintroduced in its original Cardinal colorway in 2011, but has since become a rarity. There currently aren't any Air Jordan VII Retros on the horizon, but we'll be sure to let you know if anything changes.
