In further promotion of the return of the iconic Stan Smith sneaker from adidas, the Three Stripes has commissioned additional influencers to speak on the classic model.
Today we hear from two NYC-based creatives, Argentinian designer Lucio Castro and DJ/producer Kim Ann Foxman.
Well versed in the fashion industry, Castro points to the diversity and timelessness of the legendary silhouette. He also hones in on the wearability of the sneaker, saying "I love the way that when they're white, they'll get of course very dirty and get even better."
Foxman also speaks on the timelessness and the iconic nature of the Stan Smiths, as she remembers back when her mom would wear them.
"My mom had a pair of Stan Smiths, and she used to play tennis in them and stuff. I thought they were super cute so I stole them from her."
There really is no denying how legendary the one-time tennis shoe still is to this day, as we are certainly very excited to see them return from adidas.
