Trinidad James made himself known to the sneaker world right out of the gate when he stated, "Hypebeast, we know about ya," and the Atlanta rapper is proving himself a worthy sneakerhead in his new web series, "1st and 15th."

In the first episode, James lets everyone know from the jump that he's taking everyone back to the golden era of sneakers, the '90s, with Outkast's "Spottieottiedopaliscious" playing in the background and Michael Jordan taking it to the hole. But what proceeds after that is true sneakerhead knowledge. James goes onto discuss his love for the Air Jordan II, the differences between retros from various year, and how his love for sneakers mixes with launching his own clothing line, Gold Gang.

James really knows his shit. Sneakerheads might snark at the fact he gets his kicks before everyone else, but his appreciation for the original grey and white Air Force 1 His, having a pair of Laney Vs from 2000, and loving an array of brands and models from Nike Flyknits, Reebok Questions, and being able to design a dope pair of NIKEiD Air Force 1s--they're Realtree camo with an orange strap--proves that James isn't a celebrity who's just seeded kicks.

Hopefully, there will be further episodes of this web series and James can bless everyone with more sneaker facts. Watch both parts of the first episode above and below.
