Nothing screams Brazil like a little Green-on-Yellow action. So that’s exactly the color combo German sportswear brand Reusch decided to go with for its latest goalkeeper gloves, the Waorani Deluxe G2.

While we’re normally used to seeing special edition kits and footwear ahead of a World Cup year, it’s refreshing to see brands put some significant thought behind accessories as well. The Reusch Waorani Deluxe G2 gloves don’t just have that great Samba style, but they’re designed for top-notch performance on the World’s Biggest Stage.

The gloves feature new G2 Ultrasoft technology in the palm, which improves grip in a variety of weather conditions, and provides an extra layer of cushioning for protection against ball impact. A flexible mesh construction on the backside of the gloves offers support and breathability, while the unique 3D Thumb Crotch between the thumb and index finger eliminates any discomfort caused from constant rubbing. On the fingertips, you’ll notice Reusch’s Catch Control 2.0 technology, which uses a special silicone material to help keepers snatch the ball out of the air with nothing but confidence. Another unique feature on the Waorani Deluxe G2 gloves is the elastic wrist bandage that offers additional protection along with a locked-in ergonomic fit for total ball control.

The price of the gloves ranges from $56-$177 depending on cut.
