If you haven't been keeping up with the latest NBA standings, you may be surprised to learn that the Indiana Pacers are currently tied with the San Antonio Spurs for the best record in the entire league. In recent years, Indiana has always had a solid squad and often finish with a winning record, but they haven't looked quite this good since the Reggie Miller days of the '90s. With a deep, versatile roster that includes players like Paul George, Roy Hibbert, Danny Granger, and David West, the Pacers have been in their zone thus far this season. Tonight, they hit the road for a game against the Charlotte Bobcats. Indiana comes into tonight's game with a 5-1 road record, and will meet the Bobcats again on December 13 for a home game.

On this day during last year's NBA season, the Pacers were off to a slow 6-8 start, but managed to pick up one of their biggest wins of the season on the road. The Pacers traveled to Staples Center on November 27, 2012 for a game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Kobe Bryant was a force as usual, dropping 40 points and 10 rebounds on the Pacers. However, Bryant's sloppy play, which included 10 turnovers and 12-28 shooting, allowed Indiana to secure a 79-77 win after George Hill nailed a buzzer beater.

The Pacers couldn't have gotten it done without a relentless showing from David West. Coming just shy of a triple-double, David West had 16 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 blocks as the Pacers picked up this close road win. During this game, the power forward wore the Nike Air Max Hyperposite, a model which combined heavy duty technologies for the ultimate in big man support. After a long run with Nike, David West has switched to adidas models such as the Crazyquick for the 2013-14 season.

Check out a clip of some of David West's highlights with the Pacers below.
