NIKEiD creates a "World Champion" LeBron 11

Remembering the Kings first crown.

After eight seasons under everyones microscope, LeBron finally attained the one part of his legacy that he had been chasing from the beginning. 2012 was indeed the year King James finally lived up to his royal nickname as he and his Miami Heat were crowned NBA Champs that season. While the Durant and Westbrook led OKC Thunder seemed poised to rain on James’s parade, the Heat turned up the temperature on the court and brought some championship hardware back to South Beach. Seeing as how we saw this championship-inspired pair of kicks coming, we definitely didn’t expect this colorway. With LeBrons road to a ring ending with OKC, it appears that this pair of “World Championship” Nike LeBron XI’s sports a Thunder-inspired color scheme. Fully equipped with a crisp royal base, this latest NIKEiD creation also sports speckled Gamma Blue Hyperposite sections, along with some vibrant orange accents. Instead of doing a typical gold-filled iteration, Nike subtly reminds everyone, even the Thunder, that they fell at the hands of LeBron. Now that the first ring is covered, you can bet your bottom dollar that the 2013 pair will be dedicated to Brons second ring. All hail the mighty King James.
