Detroit Lions Wide Receiver Calvin Johnson is a machine—so much so that his on-field nickname is Megatron. And to further expound upon that Transformers moniker, Nike and Hasbro have here crafted an undeniably-intriguing Transformers-inspired collection with the "Megatron Rises" Pack.
Now at first, we thought maybe the range would showcase one sneaker that transformed into multiple models, but unfortunately, that isn't the case—at least not yet. Instead, though, we get the next best thing: three footwear options, all of course inspired by Megatron and the famed flick.
We note Calvin's CJ81 Trainer Max, the Air Trainer SC II and the CJ81 Megatron Elite TD Cleat, all featuring similar color combinations. The deluxe lineup boasts impressive boxing and also comes with a sick Transformers action figure.
To coincide with Johnson's number, 81 packs of the special edition selection are to release exclusively at 21 Mercer, select Nike Yardline spots and via Nike.com.
