US athletes helped bring shine to the Nike Flyknit Trainer during last year's Olympics games, as our country and the Swoosh look to do the same such thing yet again during next year's Sochi Winter Olympics. This time around, the new sneaker of choice will be Nike's Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSB, of which we have an initial peek at above.
The outdoor-inspired iteration here features a beefed-up look, showcasing an OMS outsole to make the kicks a prime play during more extreme weather conditions and on tough terrain. The Flyknit upper of the shoe mimics that of the Flyknit Chukka, while being secured to the sole via a tape-style technique that also extends to the toe cap. USA branding has been implemented atop the tongue on this particular pair, which is then set off underneath by a bright-colored, speckled midsole.
As for now, no release specifics have been provided for the Nike Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSB, but per usual, keep it locked to Complex for all pertinent info.
