If you've ever wanted to get an inside look into the manufacturing process behind a given sneaker, you're in luck. Japan's houyhnhnm recently made a trip to New England to check out the New Balance factory and thus award with a behind-the-scenes glimpse.

In honor of the 25th anniversary of the 996 silhouette, above we get a look at just how the heralded runner is made.
