In case you missed the news yesterday, Nike unveiled enough golf products to last an entire year, as now we have a better understanding of what the brand’s golf division has on tap for 2014.

The Nike Golf Spring 2014 collection features some of the most innovative products to ever hit the golf course. From footwear and apparel to balls and clubs, Nike looks like it’s on a mission to arm golfers with everything they need to elevate their game next year.

"For us, innovation and design is at the epicenter of everything we do,” said Cindy Davis, President of Nike Golf. “We obsess every detail. Is it fast enough?  Is it light enough?  Does it feel right?  Sound right?  Does it meet the eye?  Does it move with the body? We challenge everything. We think something nobody else thinks. We build something nobody else builds. We improve something that no one else thinks needs improving.  If it's good enough, then we must make it better."

While we broke down the two new footwear editions—the Lunar Clayton and Lunar Control—to the Nike Golf lineup yesterday, today we’re here to preview the rest of the collection.

In the golf club department, Nike has unveiled the second generation of its high-tech VR_S Covert series, including a new 2.0 Driver, 2.0 Fairway Woods and 2.0 Hybrids. Also included are VR X3X Toe Sweep Wedges and VR_S Covert Forged Irons. These reengineered clubs are designed to deliver faster ball speed, more distance, as well as an improved overall swing experience. In its golf balls, Nike has incorporated its new Speedlock RZN Core technology, which features a waffle iron surface for increased stability and travel distance. The Nike Golf Spring ’14 collection will feature four different ball types:

  1. RZN Platinum: Tour Performance control and moderate spin

  2. RZN Black: Tour Performance distance and less spin

  3. RZN Red: Distance Performance, longer carry

  4. RZN White: Distance Performance, softer feel, for swing speeds 95-100 mph

In the apparel category, Nike will introduce the Hyperadapt Wind Jacket, which features four-way stretch technology for improved mobility, as well as protection against wind and light rain. Nike Golf will also roll out a Lightweight Innovation Color Polo that has bonded seams instead of stitched ones for closer body contact, as well as the Innovation Wove Cover-up, which is a jacket/sweater hybrid that offers the best of both warmth and protection.

Much of the Nike Golf Spring '14 collection will be available for purchase starting January 2014.
