Reeboks retro campaign has truly been a sight to see in 2013. Having dropped a litany of retro heat upon the sneaker world, it doesn’t look like much is going to change once 2014 hits. While the Reebok Kamikaze II has served as one of the brands cornerstone releases, the classic basketball silhouette will soon have company upon the retail shelves in the new year. The Reebok Kamikaze I will indeed be making its triumphant return to the sneaker world sometime in 2014. Despite not having any release information to share at the moment, we do have a detailed look at what appears to be an OG colored offering for the previously mentioned pair of kicks. With this serving as just the tip of the Reebok Kamikaze retro iceberg, we can only image how many other OG-inspired releases are on the horizon. As exciting as this is for both the sneaker community and Reebok, will this retro surpass the level of success its Kamikaze II counterpart achieved? Although time will unequivocally be the ultimate judge, you can’t deny that you didn’t see this retro coming. Move over Kamikaze II, it looks like your big brother is back on the block. A refresher course in sharing is most definitely going to be in order.
