This also marked a personal accomplishment for Pettitte, as he became the all-time leader in postseason wins. He currently remains in the top spot with 19 career postseason victories.
The majority of Andy Pettitte's 18-year career has been spent with the New York Yankees, with a brief stint in Houston from 2004-2006. Pettitte was selected for the All-Star game on three occasions and has won five World Series championships with the Yankees. He's also New York's all-time strikeout leader, which is no small feat amongst some of the game's greatest.
